The band made their television debut performing the single, “White Flag”, on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, followed by appearances on CONAN and CBS This Morning. Prior to their album’s release, the band was named a Spotify Spotlight Artist and toured with James Bay.

RADIOHEAD: Another band back on the TOP 5 for a second week, A Moon Shaped Pool is the ninth studio album by this English rock band and it is the fifth Radiohead album to be nominated for the Mercury Prize. Patrick Ryan of USA Today wrote that “the brooding, symphonic and poignant A Moon Shaped Pool … was well worth the wait.”

YOUNG THE GIANT: An American alternative rock band formed in Irvine, California in 2004, have released their third studio album, Home of the Strange. This album deals with the band’s immigrant history and American identity- lead singer Sameer Gadhia is a first generation American of Indian heritage.

DEATH BY UNGA BUNGA: According to Peter Helman of Stereogum, “Death By Unga Bunga either make garage-rock with the melodic precision of power-pop or power-pop with the scrappy energy of garage-rock.” This Norwegian rock band from Moss, Østfold, formed in 2007, released their fourth album, Pineapple Pizza, in March, and they have already followed it up with a new EP entitled Fight!

THIS WILD LIFE: Indie acoustic alternative rock duo This Wild Life have released their second album, Low Tides. Hailing from Long Beach, California, Kevin Jordan, vocals and guitar, and Anthony Del Grosso, guitar, this duo is most well known in the pop punk scene and the Warped Tour circuit. According to Becky Kovach of Chorus.FM, “The band skyrocketed to popularity with their 2014 debut Clouded. The album is a hard act to follow; however, their latest effort, Low Tides, manages to avoid the dreaded sophomore slump with grace and finesse. The album is soothing, sincere, and expands on many of the qualities fans came to love on Clouded.”
