JOSEPH: Back on the TOP 5 for a second week, this band of three sisters, hailing from Portland, Oregon, have released their second album, I’m Alone, No You’re Not. The band made their television debut performing the single, “White Flag”, on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, followed by appearances on CONAN and CBS This Morning. Rockin' The Commons 2016 Recap
We are happy to say that Rockin’ the Commons was an amazing success last night! We enjoyed every minute of planning and every minute of the event itself, and we hoped all of you had a wonderful time as well! This event is a labor of love from all of us here at Fredonia Radio Systems because it’s a way to bring together the campus and community to help raise money for cancer research at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo. We are 4 days away from Rockin’ the Commons and we are working really hard to put together a great event for all of you! We had a great turn out for our lock-in tonight where we had plenty of help from our wonderful radio members!

The all-female a cappella group, Some Like It Hot, will be joining the music line up at Rockin’ the Commons this Saturday! We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us!

RTC Music Spotlight: Younger Then

RTC Music Spotlight: Rescue Dawn
Rescue Dawn is a Buffalo Pop Punk band who have been around for quite some time despite all of them being in their early 20s. The band was started by the Demarco Brothers (RJ - vocals, Tanner - drums), and they have been playing shows all around Buffalo and doing several small tours around the country. The Rifts are a rock band that started right here in Fredonia just a few months ago, and have been gaining serious notoriety around the Buffalo area. The recent-Fredonia-alumni group are sure to be a good time as they return to their stomping grounds to rock n’ roll for familiar faces. RTC Music Spotlight: Kill The Clock
Kill The Clock is a fan favorite who played Rockin The Commons last year, and many other Fredonia events. The Buffalo-based pop punk group consists mostly of Fredonia students and have been in the studio with Rescue Dawn’s vocalist, who is producing their new EP expected later this year. RTC Music Spotlight: The Rangeclips
The Rangeclips may be an unfamiliar name, but not unfamiliar faces nor music. This 70s rock group’s frontwoman is Fredonia Radio System’s own Lucy Bell.
