The Otherme is returning to Rockin’ the Commons for the second year in a row. This alternative one-man band mixes genres of all sorts to bring something for everyone to love. MUSIC SPOTLIGHTS: Here at Fredonia, we’re proud to say that we have five amazing a cappella groups on campus and three of them are coming to perform at Rockin’ the Commons! The Riveters are an all-female a cappella group, which started in Spring 2011, making them the youngest a cappella group on campus and they have been rockin’ out ever since. Much More Chill is an all-male a cappella group, that have been focusing on more contemporary music with heavy doses of vocal percuss
Our favorite event that we put on here at Fredonia Radio Systems is Rockin’ the Commons! This event is an all day music festival fundraiser to benefit Roswell Park. Every year we have local musicians play all day from 11am to 7pm, we host raffles that include great prizes, and a chicken BBQ. This year, we also are having a bake sale, a bounce house and plenty of games for everyone to enjoy! Stay tuned, because later today we will start announcing our band line up right here o
Fredonia Radio Systems is back at it again, and we would just like to update you on what’s been going around at the station since the semester began! During Move-In day, a few of us hung out at the Welcome Tent to play music for the incoming freshman while they unpacked. We had fun playing the top hits and some of our favorite throwbacks!
