11/03/2008 - Kaity Davie interviews SUNY Fredonia Professor David Rankin about the role of the role of the media in the 2008 election, and how the media has affected the candidates.

A forum-style look back at the 2008 elections.  Guests included Bob McCarthy a Buffalo News political Writer, Alan Bedenko of Buffalo Pundit, and Chuck Cornell from the America Democracy Project and Center for Rural Development and Governance.  They discussed this year's election and how it has differred from past elections.

SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise) is participating in the Campbell's "Let's Can Hunger" food drive here in the Dunkirk and Fredonia Communities.  All food donations will be donated to the Chautauqua Food Bank.

Erica Wolfling sat down with Student Association Chair of Academic Affairs to talk about the possibility of education students receiving credit for their placement courses.

Erica Wolfling sat down with Fredonia Jazz Ensemble co-directors Michael Casey, and Matt Koerner to talk about FJE's release of their new studio album "Still Kickin.'"  FJE will release their CD at a concert on Sunday, April 26, beginning at 5 p.m. in Diers Recital Hall on the Fredonia campus.

University Stadium celebrated its grand opening Friday September 11.

Erica Wolfling sat down with the publicity chair of ETHOS New Music Society and the Modal Kombat concert.  Ethos New Music Society will be hosting classical guitarists Evan Drummond and  David Hindman in the first guitar-controlled video game battle.  This forward-thinking ensemble has developed technology that allows classical-electric guitars to control the characters in console video games.
